A skill-building program that uses arts as a foundation for developing transferable skills, connecting to mentors and peers, and gaining real-world work experience in creative sectors.
The N’we Jinan ArtWorks: Exploring Creative Pathways with Indigenous Youth is a three-year program designed to meet Indigenous youth where they’re at and support them in where they want to go. Working with youth between the ages of 15-30, ArtWorks supports youth in building employability and entrepreneurial skills.
Key elements of the program: mentorship; opportunities to participate in an in-school arts-based teaching residency; internship opportunities; online training modules focused on skill building.
As we continue to build out ArtWorks, we’ll be sharing exciting details about the Music Entrepreneurship Lab, the Youth Artist Assistant Program, and several other exciting components. We’ll also be featuring participants very soon – stay tuned!
Our first call for Emerging Artists took place in September 2020 and we are now working with 15 incredible Emerging Artists.
